We are offering a competitive rate of £32 per hour on an umbrella basis. In this crucial position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing cases, and collaborating with various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions. Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they are aware of available resources and services.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a front door or assessment team, preferably in a local authority setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
