Join our dedicated Children’s TM - CWD Team in Harrow as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children with disabilities. We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans. Implementing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families, ensuring that the voice of the child is central to all decision-making. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, facilitating access to resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to continuously improve practice and service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the legislation surrounding children with disabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
