We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) or Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team in Harrow. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and welfare.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working within a Children in Need setting or similar environment. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
