As a Qualified Social Worker in the Corporate Parenting Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and development of children in care.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and corporate parenting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
