Sutton - Lead CP Practitioner - MACPT - £39.04 p/h Umb
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead CP Practitioner to join our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) in Sutton. This role offers a competitive rate of £39.04 per hour on an umbrella contract. As a Lead CP Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children within our community, leading assessments, and coordinating interventions with a focus on safeguarding.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing child protection cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective child protection plans.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
- Providing supervision and support to less experienced practitioners within the team.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and case records in accordance with local policies.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
