As a Family Support & Intervention Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing intervention plans to support families in crisis.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals.
- Providing direct support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to share best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in family support and intervention within a social work setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families.
