We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Lambeth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, education providers, and voluntary organizations.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with safeguarding and legal requirements.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in working with children with disabilities and an understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
