Qualified Social Worker (QSW)

Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Referral and Assessment (R&A) Team on an exciting contract at £37.52 per hour Umbrella. This role is perfect for passionate professionals eager to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families within our community. As a QSW, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children while working collaboratively with families and external agencies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Developing and implementing child protection plans and interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to families and stakeholders throughout the process.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in child protection and assessment work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
