The City of Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Ageing Well Team. Key responsibilities of the role include:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in adult social care, particularly with older adults.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
