We are seeking a dedicated professional to work on a temporary basis at a competitive rate of £37.52 per hour (Umbrella). This role is pivotal in providing support and intervention to families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the Family Help Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of families to identify their needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to implement support strategies.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of families, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.
- Participating in team meetings and case conferences to ensure a holistic approach to family support.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working with families in a social work context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to family engagement.
