Join our dedicated Neighbourhood Social Worker Team in Tameside, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our local communities. As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to individuals and families facing various challenges. Your primary focus will be on assessing needs, developing intervention plans, and connecting clients with essential services to promote their independence and resilience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of client needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and relevant stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for clients, ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, community organizations, and service providers to enhance client outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in social work, preferably within a community or neighbourhood setting. Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a person-centred approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
