Children's SW - CP / CIN Team - Lincolnshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Child Protection / Children in Need Team in Lincolnshire. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health and education professionals, to provide holistic support.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Providing support and guidance to families to address issues such as neglect, abuse, and domestic violence.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within Child Protection / Children in Need teams.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage complex cases, and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
