Children's SP - Family help Team - Leicestershire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's SP - Family Help Team member to join our team in Leicestershire. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to families in need, working closely with children and their caregivers to ensure their well-being and safety.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families
  • Developing and implementing care plans to address those needs
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Advocating for the best interests of children and families within the legal framework

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in child protection and family support
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child welfare
