We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Front Door Team in Bradford. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in assessing and responding to the needs of children and families in crisis situations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting initial assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and safeguarding concerns for children.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children and families.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health practitioners and educators, to provide holistic support.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to review progress and make informed decisions.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to make informed decisions about child protection and welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
