We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Adult Front Door Team in Worcestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults in need of support and intervention.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for adults requiring social work intervention.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for service users.
  • Providing advocacy, support, and guidance to vulnerable adults to promote their well-being and independence.
  • Managing a complex caseload and ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Participating in safeguarding procedures and taking appropriate action to protect adults at risk.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in adult social work, preferably within a Front Door Team setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a commitment to providing person-centered care.

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in mental health, substance misuse, or working with older adults will be highly desirable.
