Qualified Social Worker (QSW)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Fostering Team in Cambridgeshire, offering a competitive rate of £39 per hour (umbrella). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families through effective fostering practices. You will be responsible for assessing and supporting foster carers, ensuring the best outcomes for children placed in their care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers.
- Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families.
- Developing and implementing individual care plans for children.
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support for children and families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in fostering or child protection settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong assessment and analytical abilities.
