We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Team in Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and their families. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and facilitating access to essential services for our clients.

As a Social Worker in our Learning Disability Team, you will be responsible for:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of individuals with learning disabilities. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Providing emotional support, guidance, and advocacy to clients and their families. Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure effective service delivery and positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in a community setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
