Join our dedicated team in Northamptonshire as a Children's Social Worker within the Court and Children in Care (CIC) Team. We are seeking a passionate and committed individual who is ready to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, ensuring the welfare and safety of children while navigating complex court processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and relevant agencies. Representing the local authority in court proceedings, providing clear and concise reports. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Engaging in direct work with children and families to promote positive outcomes.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working in children's social care, particularly within a court setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
