We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Team in Walsall. As a Social Worker in our Learning Disability Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing emotional support, guidance, and advocacy to clients and their families.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure effective service delivery and positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in a community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
