Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in partnership with families and external agencies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and legislation.
  • Participating in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and best practices.
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues and other professionals involved in safeguarding cases.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in safeguarding, child protection, and assessment work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding.
