Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Coalville, Leicestershire, as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Assessment and Planning (AP) and Child Protection (CP). This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £40 per hour (umbrella) for a skilled professional ready to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in partnership with families and external agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and legislation. Participating in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and best practices. Providing support and guidance to colleagues and other professionals involved in safeguarding cases.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding, child protection, and assessment work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
