We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's TM - C&F Team member to join our dynamic team in Devon. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and welfare of children and families within our community. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans, and providing ongoing support and intervention to promote positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and reviewing individual care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance professional development.

Essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience working in children's services, particularly in child protection and family support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
