As a Social Worker in our LAC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England (or equivalent regulatory body). Experience working with children in care or similar settings is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
