The Royal Borough of Kingston is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's SW - Locality Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of adults within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality social work services to vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Providing support and guidance to clients, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and services. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate care and support. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult social work, preferably within a locality team. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
