Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Buckinghamshire County Council is seeking a skilled Children's Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people across the county.
As a Children's Social Worker in the MASH team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting initial assessments and developing comprehensive care plans for children in need. Working closely with colleagues from various agencies to gather relevant information and make informed decisions. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and support for families. Providing advice and guidance to professionals and families regarding safeguarding concerns. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
