We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Decision Maker Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families. You will be responsible for making informed decisions based on assessments and referrals, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families referred to the MASH.
- Making critical decisions regarding safeguarding and support interventions.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop comprehensive plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies as needed.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
