We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children in Care team in Nottingham. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of up to £36 per hour (Umbrella) and the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating comprehensive care plans for children in care.
- Working collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support strategies.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their needs are met and rights upheld.
- Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local authority policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working within a Children in Care or similar social work setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
