Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Nottinghamshire as a Children's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive outcomes. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as required.To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
