Our Safeguarding Team in Swindon is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children, providing support and guidance to families in need.
As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely interventions and support. Working closely with partner agencies to promote the welfare of children and safeguard their interests. Documenting and maintaining accurate records in accordance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
