We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic Children and Families team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention for children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will lead case management processes, conduct assessments, and develop tailored care plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and current registration with the relevant social work regulatory body. Significant experience in children and families social work, including a strong understanding of child protection legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with children and families. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to evidence-based practice. Leadership experience and the ability to support and inspire a team.
