We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Services team in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families. As a Children's Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with children, their families, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans that meet the individual needs of children and families. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide support and intervention, ensuring the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access community resources and services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, CSS). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, preferably in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Additional requirements include a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
