Are you passionate about safeguarding children and making a difference in their lives? Nottinghamshire is seeking a dedicated Child Protection Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with children and families to assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. You will play a crucial role in the child protection process, collaborating with various stakeholders to provide holistic support and intervention.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and support services. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them to access resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this position, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA Hons Social Work, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding is essential, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are crucial to succeed in this role.
