We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Duty Team in Wigan, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. This role is available on a temporary basis at a competitive rate of £38.00 per hour (Umbrella). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need.
  • Responding to referrals and managing a caseload effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A valid Social Work qualification (degree or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
