The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Families First Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. You will work collaboratively with families, providing support and interventions to promote positive outcomes for children and young people. If you are committed to making a difference and possess the skills to navigate complex family dynamics, we want to hear from you.

As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children and families to develop tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to provide guidance and support. Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and community organizations. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with local policies and procedures. Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as necessary.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
