The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Young Adults Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people aged 16-25, providing essential support and guidance as they transition into adulthood. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults in our community.

Key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing tailored support plans for young adults. Working collaboratively with children, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support. Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to care planning processes. Providing advice, guidance, and support to young adults in navigating services and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and young adults in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including safeguarding policies.
