Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker in the Children's Duty & Assessment Team in Nottingham, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing support, and ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely and effective manner. Your expertise will help create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of children's needs. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Engaging with children and families to provide support, advice, and guidance. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with partner organizations.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in duty and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
