We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's AP - CSW Team Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. You will work closely with families, local authorities, and other professionals to assess needs and develop effective intervention strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
