Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Looked After Children (LAC) Team in Bolton as a Qualified Social Worker. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our young people in care. You will be responsible for carrying out assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to children and their families. Your expertise will help shape the future of vulnerable children and young people in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure comprehensive care and support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly within a LAC setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
