We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Safeguarding Team in Barnet. This role offers an attractive rate of £32 per hour (Umbrella) and provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. As a member of our safeguarding team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and adults at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans to address safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and intervention.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to families and stakeholders involved in safeguarding matters.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection within a social work setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in safeguarding.
