Join our dedicated team in Cardiff as a Social Worker in Adult Services, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable adults within our community. As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to individuals and their families. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care and are empowered to lead fulfilling lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing emotional support and practical assistance to clients and their families. Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring access to appropriate services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports in accordance with legislative requirements. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Care Wales. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in adult services and knowledge of relevant legislation will be advantageous.
