We are seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join our dedicated team in North Somerset, focusing on Children with Disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to provide high-quality assessments, support plans, and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each child.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop support plans. Providing direct support and intervention to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and educational staff, to deliver integrated services. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding policies while maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records. Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance professional development and stay abreast of best practices.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working with children with disabilities and an understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children and families.
