Leeds City is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CP/CIN Social Worker to join our dynamic Qualified Social Work team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding children and supporting families in need. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans for children and families. Managing a caseload of Child Protection (CP) and Children in Need (CIN) cases, ensuring compliance with local and national safeguarding policies. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement agencies, to provide holistic support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access resources and services that promote their well-being.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Demonstrable experience in child protection and working with vulnerable families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
