Join our dedicated Children's TM - MASH Team in Tameside as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with a multi-agency team to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the well-being of vulnerable children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to develop and implement effective support plans. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records, adhering to local and national safeguarding policies. Participating in strategy meetings and child protection conferences to advocate for the best interests of children. Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
