As a Social Worker in the Adult Safeguarding team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals at risk, identifying their needs and safeguarding concerns.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Investigating safeguarding alerts and conducting inquiries in accordance with local and national policies.
  • Providing advice and support to clients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of all interactions and interventions in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and professionals alike.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in safeguarding.
