We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Safeguarding team in Cambridgeshire, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour. You will be responsible for safeguarding children and supporting families through challenging circumstances, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records while adhering to local and national safeguarding policies.
  • Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access necessary services and resources.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in family safeguarding or child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
