Family Help Social Worker | Warwickshire | Up to £38ph
Warwickshire County Council is seeking experienced Social Workers to join its Family Help Service across several localities. These opportunities are ideal for practitioners who want to work within a supportive long-term service focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
The council is keen to broaden its candidate pool and welcomes applications from Social Workers with a minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience (PQE) who have successfully completed their ASYE, provided they have experience within a Safeguarding, Child Protection or Long-Term Team.

What We're Looking For

  • Social Work England registration
  • Minimum 2 years PQE and completion of ASYE
  • Experience within Safeguarding, Child Protection, Family Help, Children in Need, or Long-Term Children's Services teams
  • Strong assessment, planning and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and families

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid working model
  • Social Workers are expected to attend their locality offices and undertake visits/meetings at least 2 days per week
  • Condensed hours will be considered, allowing 37 hours across 4 days

Pay Rates

  • Up to £38 per hour for experienced Social Workers, subject to skills and experience
  • Candidates with 3-4+ years PQE are eligible for the council's rate exemption of up to £38ph
  • Strong candidates with 2 years PQE will also be considered, with rates discussed based on experience
