We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (SSW) to join our Disability Team in Dudley. This role is pivotal in providing support and advocacy for adults with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and services they need to lead fulfilling lives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess needs, develop care plans, and promote independence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults with disabilities to identify their needs and preferences.
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families, helping them navigate available services and resources.

  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans regularly to ensure they remain effective and relevant.

Essential qualifications and skills for this position include:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
