We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team in Westminster, offering a competitive rate of £34 per hour on an Umbrella basis. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users' mental health needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to service users, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans, adjusting as necessary based on service users' progress.
  • Engaging with external agencies and stakeholders to facilitate holistic support for service users.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and support staff.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A valid Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in mental health social work within a statutory setting.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of mental health legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse service users.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
