Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Fostering Team in Stockport as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and their families. In this position, you will work collaboratively with foster families, children, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for the children we serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families to develop tailored care plans. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers to enhance the fostering experience. Conducting regular visits and reviews to monitor the welfare and progress of children in care. Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree or Masters in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working within children's services, particularly in fostering or adoption. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
