Join our dedicated team in Manchester as an Adults Social Worker within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (Mash Team). This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and delivering high-quality support to individuals in need. Your expertise will guide interventions that promote independence and safeguard those who are at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults’ needs and risks. Collaborating with health services, housing, and community organizations to develop integrated care plans. Providing advice, support, and advocacy to service users and their families. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely responses to referrals and safeguarding concerns. Documenting all interactions and interventions in accordance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
