Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team in Wirral. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children, assessing their needs, and providing support to families to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans to support children and families effectively. Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and community resources to promote the welfare of children. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
