Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children in care and their families. Preparing and presenting reports for court proceedings and child protection conferences. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
